Set it up in Claude

Takes about a minute. Works with a free Claude account too.

Open claude.ai. In the left menu choose Customize, then Connectors.
Press + Add and choose Add custom connector.
Name it Kotitila and paste https://www.kotitila.fi/api/mcp as the URL. Choose No sign in and press Add.
Done. Start a new chat and ask. Claude finds the products at Kotitila and gives you a link to a ready cart.

Is this safe?

The assistant sees what you see in the web shop: products, prices and delivery dates. It cannot see customer data, pay or order. The cart only reaches the shop when you open the link yourself.

Does it cost anything?

Nothing from Kotitila. A free Claude account is enough. ChatGPT needs a paid plan.

What is it based on?

The open MCP standard (Model Context Protocol) that lets AI assistants use web services. Built for Kotitila by Brandista.
