The tallow goes a long way and keeps well!
Note! May contain traces of pollen, as the product uses beeswax for its caring properties.
Options: Unscented or Pine (scented with pine cones and needles).
Who is the product for?
The product suits all skin types. It is additive-free and suitable for all ages, women, men, children and pets.
Should I choose the Pine or the Unscented Whipped Tallow Balm?
Both Kotitila's unscented and pine balms have the same base, made from clarified beef tallow and beeswax. During heating, pine cones have been added to the pine balm for their caring properties. Neither product has any scent other than what comes from its raw ingredients. Both are therefore usually suitable for people who are sensitive to scents.
What is the difference between Kotitila's whipped and regular tallow balm?
Kotitila's whipped and regular tallow balms have the same base ingredients: Finnish grass-fed beef tallow and beeswax, with pine cones and needles added during heating in the pine version. So there is no difference in how suitable or caring the balms are. The essential difference is in the texture. The whipped balm is fluffier and spreads more easily. Our regular tallow balm is denser and firmer.
Where is the product made?
All of Kotitila's natural cosmetics are made in Kotitila's own production facility, which is located next to the Kotitila shop.
Where do the raw materials for Kotitila's natural cosmetics come from?
The raw materials in Kotitila's natural cosmetics are 100{8574ffb16e9356d16bd18a5bc3139c54852d699c26c39109856636a91279f44d} Finnish. We do not use essential oils or other fragrances in our products.
The pine cones used in the Whipped Pine Tallow Balm are collected by us from our own forest.
Are the cosmetics made from Kotitila's tallow safe to use?
A Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR) has been prepared for the cosmetic products made by Kotitila. It is a mandatory safety assessment report for every cosmetic product sold within the EU. The report is prepared by an independent safety assessor, and it demonstrates the product's safety for consumers. Cosmetics made from Kotitila's tallow meet the required standards.
Because the cosmetics made from Kotitila's tallow contain no synthetic raw materials at all, they are safe for consumers to use as long as they are used and stored according to the instructions. Customers should be aware of the small amount of resin in the pine tallow balm, which occurs naturally in pine cones, and the possible small amount of pollen in the beeswax, if a customer has a very serious pollen allergy.
